Waves of Technology

🚂 Wave 1
The first wave came from the theory of mechanics and thermodynamics in the 19th century, which enabled the invention of the steam engine and was followed by the locomotive and eventually the Industrial Revolution.

📺 Wave 2
The second wave came from understanding the laws of magnetism and electricity in the 20th century. From this came the electrification of cities, and inventions such as radio, TV, generators, and even our space program.

🌐 Wave 3
The third wave came from the invention of the transistor and the laser in the 21st century, which enabled the internet, new telecommunications, GPS, and even supercomputers.

🤖 Wave 4
The fourth wave is the current wave of technology which is happening as we speak, it includes artificial intelligence (AI), nanotechnology, and biotechnology.

🚀 Wave 5

The fifth wave which could happen in the 22nd century, includes technologies such as nanoships, laser sails, antimatter engines, and much more that we can’t even imagine.
