Pi
The constant hidden in every circle

Pi (π) is a mathematical constant that represents the ratio between a circle’s circumference and its diameter. No matter how large or small the circle is, this ratio is always the same, which is why π appears throughout geometry and physics.
π is approximately equal to 3.14, but its exact value is an irrational number, meaning it cannot be written as a fraction, and its decimal expansion never ends or repeats. Rather than being just a number, π reflects a deep and universal property of curved space.
