Martian DNA Theory

There is strong geographic evidence that Mars was once covered in flowing liquid water. Billions of years ago—while Earth was still a molten ball of fire—Mars had already cooled and had a tropical climate.

Some scientists even speculate that DNA may have originated on Mars. A massive meteor impact could have ejected debris from Mars into space, some of which may have eventually landed on Earth. If this theory is correct, then life as we know it could have Martian origins!
